The ‘Lifedive’ Workshop
Leadership.
Why we offer it.
As leaders, understanding when or why we are likely to feel challenged will empower us to take decisions under uncertainty, without limiting ourselves to pre-defined options or patterns.
In that regard, our approach to a deeper question will matter most: how do we deal with the unknown? Its ramifications will provide clarity on our leadership style and the leadership culture that we foster.
We invite you to dive (literally) into it, one step closer to conscious leadership.
What you will do.
The ‘Lifedive’ workshop is a one-day activity taking place at a skydiving centre approximately 2h away from Paris.
In the morning, following a safety and leadership briefing, participants will jump in tandem with an instructor. In the afternoon, they will participate to a 2h fireside chat discussion on the various cultures of risk and leadership styles. Lunch will be served in a communal spirit.
Activities are run by LtGeneral (ret.) Michel Yakovleff, former vice-chief of staff of SHAPE, NATO’s military command, and licensed skydiving instructor.
How you can use it.
This workshop is a once-in-a-lifetime experience providing participants with a unique opportunity to challenge themselves and build cohesive teams.
Experiencing risk, overcoming stress, and understanding the preparation that comes into it, participants will leave with a sense of achievement and greater self-awareness of their own leadership style.
Sign up as a team, make it part of a strategy offsite, or join us to learn something about yourself and bond with other participants… the sky is the limit.
Who should attend.
This workshop is relevant for decision-makers at large, i.e., team-leaders or managers having to take decisions with partial information. The maximum number of participants is 15.
What else you should know.
A physical examination is mandatory. However, don’t disqualify yourself based on your perception of your physical abilities. We work with instructors certified to jump with inexperienced participants, including people with disabilities.
In other words, either physically, emotionally or intellectually, we will give you the opportunity to push the envelope in a safe space.
On that note, if you refuse to jump when looking down to the ground, we won’t look down on you when you come back on the ground. Regardless of what happens up there, it will be a worthwhile opportunity to reflect on the way you approach risk and decision-making.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience to explore your relationship to risk, uncertainty and decision-making.
